The PRIX EUROPA 2025 festival will be held 5–10 October 2025 at the Haus des Rundfunks (rbb) in Berlin —continuing its mission to champion the very best in European public-service media PRIX EUROPA.

What makes PRIX EUROPA truly unique is its open-jury system: judging isn't confined to closed, appointed juries but entrusted to festival participants themselves. In each category, Jury Groups are composed of the creators behind the nominated productions. They come together to view all entries, discuss them openly, and assess them via a points-based system.

Who can participate as jurors?

• Every nominated production must be represented—each sending two delegates to serve in their respective Jury Group.

• All registered PRIX EUROPA participants may also join as Observers, attending discussions and presentations. Observers can engage in conversations—but do not have voting rights 

This transparent, inclusive approach transforms PRIX EUROPA into a vibrant, pan-European forum—one that encourages open exchange among media professionals and amplifies diverse voices across the continent.
